Anyone know more about why the Classic Flight Canberra couldn't make Southport on Sunday, and where else it might be flying so I can see a Canberra in flight,

Cheers,

James.

Hi James,

Might it be because it was at Duxford?? No reason why it couldn't have nipped up to Southport mind you  It didn't land but flew in.. displayed and flew straight off again.

The announcer said that it encountered technical issues en route to the venue and turned back.

What exactly the issues were, I don't know, sorry. :dunno:

Cheeky B*****d!

The reason it couldn't attend was that the wind was out of limits for its display.

They don't seem to know the difference between technical and operational :huf:

Maybe wind is too "technical" for him to understand!

Thanks for clearing that up Tom, I was starting to wonder.

Anyway, glad that the Canberra is ok and fit to fly, look forward to seeing it in the future.
