Its wasn't a requirement on Australian airliners at that time (1965), Gary. After Singapore, we flew from Sydney to Melbourne and Adelaide in an Ansett-ANA Lockheed Electra, and we sat facing forward in that one. :smile:

I think it was after that, but I have no idea if it remained and it may have only been domestic fleet.

TBH I've never seen much said about it.
