Just a quick post.
Visited the Lincs Aviation Heritage Centre website yesterday to see what's new.
http://www.lincsaviation.co.uk/news_and_images.cfm
On Sept 16th (I suppose weather permitting) the Lancaster there, NX611 "Just Jane", is not only doing one of her reqular taxi runs, but doing a fast taxi run & getting up to just under T/O speed.
Might be tempted
It's several years since I have experianced the old girl roaring.

Bob,
Thank you very much for pointing this out. On a trip to East Kirkby earlier this year I bought a DVD showing the first attempt at a tail up taxi and was very impressed. I’d have hated to miss the opportunity to witness it for real. Just hope the weather’s good on the day!!!

Just Jane’s tail up taxi, planned for the 16th of September, has now been 'Finalised and Confirmed'.

In addition there also appears to plans to have the BBMF Lancaster simultaneously carry out a flypast
, making an already unique event thoroughly unmissable.
