Well I didn't know either .... any chance of a pointer to this one??Seems more folk didn't know about it than DID which would account for your perceived lack of interest in the project Wink
It's British and in fs2004...other than that...

Hi Steve
there are a few threads on my Channel Ports & traffic.
http://www.visualflight.co.uk/forums/to ... IC_ID=5800
http://www.visualflight.co.uk/forums/to ... IC_ID=5854
http://www.visualflight.co.uk/forums/to ... IC_ID=5771
http://www.visualflight.co.uk/forums/to ... IC_ID=5785
But sadly just like here the people i got to help have already drifted away
after 5 minutes and i can't work alone
A guy was making the port of Dover but dissapeared after a week and after my 3 requests for help with the project all i got was beta tester requests.
I don't need testers i need modellers to take a port & build it like i did with Calais.
It's a large project really but people seem to not undertand that bit.
Regards
Rick

They really are very impressive and it would be a shame if you can't get the help you need and it fades away ..... pity I'm not a modeller!

Hi Steve
It just means you will only get a detailed Calais port model.
the only part of Dover i am making is the now gone Hoverport but that is proving almost impossible as there are no drawings.
I will still finish the ai boats & afcads (George Davidson) is still helping
as far as i know.

I have sourced Original Hunting Jet Provost T Mk5 drawings & an accurat JP Mk5 model from Ebay so i can at last be able to get the JP to look like it should as it is still not very accurate.
Same applies for the Chipmunk as i have sourced some Dh Original drawings from a Guy that works in the Dh Museum in Canada.
Although the chipmunk is probably my second most accurate model after the 748 & 780.
So thats 2 that will be top notch sometime in 2007.
Also just got my Airfix SRN4 hovercraft this morning so i can continue to build the FS9/FSX flyable model (I know but it's different and it's a right laugh dodging my Ai Channel ferries @ 55 kts in the Fog).
Sorry turning into an essay![]()

Oh thats' it, tease us he does!
Would that mean the Strikemaster is going to put in an appearance too?
Another thought, I remember watching the first 'Super 4' (SRN4 mk III) launch sometime in 1978, and spending time dodging the Seaspeed SRN 6's in Cowes harbour, anyhow, you'll find some useful photo's here

Ah that's because I'm getting better at photoshop!
Did it by any chance look like this?
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b361/ ... 1/Base.jpg
I tried to find a better one, I even tried repainting that model, so after everything I resorted to photoshoping it
Kind regards as always
