Seen her in the flesh and she's a monster. Quite rotten inside now though due to the abuse she suffered during her final years as a freighter. Was'nt not too bad on the outside, although it was nearly ten years ago I visited. She was proudly wearing TWA colours when I saw her. Not sure if she is still wearing this scheme. BOAC would be nicer! :wink:

The Science Museum at Wroughton is getting harder and harder to get into these days and isn't open on a daily basis. :sad:

Hi Eddie

I remember even at the time of shipping to the UK the floor was so rotten it was dangerous.

As to Wroughton........so infrequent is it open it seems generally forgotten that they have a complete Trident 3B and a Comet 4B as well as some other rarities.....great that they are saved but if folks don't get to see them :dunno:
