Dove??

Post by markyp »

Hi all,

Went to book my flight for a Dove for the VA.

Firstly the dispatch log gave me a ZFW of 4.2 T which = 4200Kilos which then = 9259lbs??

The Max takeoff weight of this aircraft is: 8800lbs?? So what is going on?!

It then tells me 11 passengers to take, when i look in fuel and payload of the aircraft it tells me there are 2 pilots and 8 passengers maximum for this aircraft?

Am I being silly here!!?

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,

For now at least, you can ignore much of the flight briefing. Take a note of the distance and of course the flight time and fly the flight in your default Dove. A lot of the entries on the flynet database are not accurate so don't worry too much about them at the moment

Yeah, until the MZFW (Maximum Zero Fuel Weight) variable is activated, it will always load maximum payload up to the MTOW (Maximum Take-Off Weight). Konny plans to activate the MZFW field in the next version or two, so hopefully we'll see a lot of those problems fixed in short order.

Which will be fine as long as the original information is/was correct

Whatever, it is not activated at present so now is the time for Mark to get used to FlyNET with the minimum of fuss
