That was the famous DC 2 1/2 ..the wing was damaged an all they had was a DC 2 wing.
Another flew with a large hole in the rear fuse held together with dexion.
But the ones Ben refer to,I think, we actually built that way.
The list in the link refers to DC 2 1/2 but I have never seen them called that before.........only the Chinese damaged one.

The story on the DC3 with one DC2 wing attached amazes me every time.
What a planes! They just keep flying.
That's what we're planning with the DC2. Just a few more things to finish.
