C133 Cargo master model on avsim

Post by bigred1970 »

hey I just downloaded and installed this and for only 12m it is a decent model, though in this case I think the visual model is better than the flight model but it has decent sound an a good virtural cockpit.

this is the 2nd largest turboprop ever built, with a 282k take off weight and 4 7500shp engines, nothing eligant here like the vangard, this thing is a tank, if you get it make sure have the props synced after takeoff or you will start to occilate, like your on the open sea or something...

Ah, a Piglet special.

There is also a set of updated FDE's available, look out for afm_c133b_v12.zip .

that new FDE helps a lot, now if I could just fix the fuel flow gadges, they are obviously off a c130 panel and are maxed out at anything over quater throttle.... maybe switch it from pounds to gallons or something like that..... I have no clue about gadges....

lol, well I am flying from ksdf to thule AFB in greenland, with almost a full cargo of "stuff". I found out one thing, just because the aircraft is supposed to be able to carry a certain amount of weight ( I am at 273K well below mtow) dosn't mean that it can in all weather, uh I had to flaps maxed out and thank god for the wheel in the butt to keep it from scraping, fun... and it only took me three tries......... :-({|=
