ohh gawd
herez we go again
idnit funny that the NEW stuff their adding to the experience in FSX
is stuff I can already (and do) experience in 2004?
well ok so I've never had a giraffe pop
his head above the tree tops
when practicing low level flight
which of course I would remeber as it
would have put a large dent in my forhead
The GPS pro you have to pay extra for
THat sould come with the AC by default
eddie I asked before
now I'm beggin

anyways
two more things
what kinda hardware (exactly)
are they running that demo on
and how much did it cost................ (damn more money again)
and whos shuttle and Moon files are they using
,
see I have them already..... free like so many other addons
that the FS comunity have worked their fingers
to a bone to enhance the FS9 verion God Bless em , really
And now M I C O S O F T ..for the all new and improved
FSX is including them for our experience

how benevolent of them
and it's all yourz.............for a specified sum

Fortunately, in my ignorance.. I believe all of that vid. I particularly enjoyed the bit where the guy says.. 'this is what you can expect to see on Vista with a 'decent' graphics card' with DX10. No need to upgrade as we all thought.. just a 'decent' graphics card and a new operating system (compatible with Vista minimum specs of course)

I like the idea of all those 'missions' too  What do you mean, you don't??

At least he admitted that the default scenery is pants..but thats what VFR and addon mesh are for

I like the idea (if it works) of having animated airports, i.e jetways coming to the aircraft and baggage trucks. Yes, I know you can get that in FS2004 with some addon-packs, but this one comes with the sim.

I think its a bit of a shame that they've gone back to the standard and delux options, airboatr's right in saying that the gps pro should be included in both versions.

My main concern is Performance, while I can't claim my P.C to be top of the range (1.7ghz 768mb RAM 256mb GFX), it used to struggle running flightsim on top settings producing 12-18fps. VFR helped this up to 30. What Im saying is that I think that the graphics are good enough as it is at the moment, I would have preffered them to have spent the time making the larger airports look exactly like they do in real life, and make the flight models more realistic.

 All I get from that link is the vocals.......Just leaving me with my imagination to fill in for the lack of video presentation!!

Tell me one thing......pleeese.....and put me out of my misery!! When MSFS produce a new Flight Sim....What on earth do they do it on? Every time a they release a new version it always requires something bigger and better than what was on the market when they first started the development.

It now appears that whatever I buy in 2007 will probably still not be powerful enough to run to obtain the best performance!!!!
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
