It's says the page was updated November 2005, my doubts is it's general accuracy

It list 2 Britols 170 where as I believe it is one airworthy.

There is one CL-44 that is airworthy still..............the CL-44-O Guppy coversion. That has been the only one for a while now.

There is at least one other stored but that has not flown for a while now.

Interesting stuff! do you know who operates the CL44 out of interest?

Hi Eddie

As far as I know it's at Bournemouth or was, looking a bit tatty.

It has not been in service for a whileas far as I know but the reports I have seen only go up to 2004

Hi Guys,

Bad news on the Guppy, announced last week that it is officially being given up for scrap.

Calls are for any ex guppy engineers to help dismantle it to reduce the scrapping costs!

Shame, especially given the uniqueness of the aircraft.

Thanks for the tip Alex

So if anyone wants to see it....now's the time

Garry

**EDIT**

I'm going to start a new thread given the historic importance of this
