Got this email and removed my email from website said it was from blueyonder but didn't open attachment. Anybody had anything like this:
Dear user [email protected],
Your email account has been used to send a huge amount of junk e-mail during the last week. Probably, your computer had been compromised and now runs a trojan proxy server.
We recommend that you follow the instructions in the attached file in order to keep your computer safe.
Thanks

Hi Amo

About eighteen months ago Suddenly my computer went haywire and started making so many peeps so close together it was almost continuous.

I couldn't stop it so physically puller the net wire out.

I had just sent over eight hundred emails in Russian.

I closed the email address and took ages running anti spyware and virus stuff to clean it up.

I never received any notification that I was aware of but my sent box was stuffed.

Thanks Garry,
I run anti virus, spam etc every 2 or 3 days.
Only one email and that was from Japan!
Will keep an eye out but beware everyone.
Cheers

That was a particulary nasty one and I had had problems with viruses.

I got it clean but it can happen, supprising how many hijack attempts get reported.

No idea what the mails were about but I guess it wasn't that legal!!

I would suspect that this email is a bold scam and an attempt to download a trojan which is in the attachment. I would delete it and run a system scam just to make doubly sure there is nothing on your machine. I've had a couple of similar ones in recent weeks.
