Post by steveS4SSL »

Hi all! Haven't been around for quite a while for various reasons, but thought I would just share some of my RIAT shots from a scorcher of a weekend! Hope you don't mind....

Great shots Steve..

If I may be so bold - As with Tom - may I extract and frame a couple of
those for my sons "British Wall" - I dont know what else to call it cos 99%
of the aircraft on it came from here and he loves the Arrows - at last
Novembers Nellis Open House when the Tbirds performed he looked up and
said --- OOhhh Red Arrows......glad there was so uch noise alot of the
surrounding USAF personell didnt hear

Great shots, some of them seam like repeats, not sure about the others but pretty sure about the C130's

The two C130 shots are identical Joe despite having different .jpg names. Toby put a link to these in another thread

Not sure what is going on with the pics. They are correctly named on my PC but the FTP client has screwed them up!!

I have transferred them once more.....so the pics have been updated and should be correct now, eith no duplicates!

Excellent shots Steve. Great to have the crowd in the picture, it really adds atmosphere. A couple of questions: How did you get elevated shots, and how many passes did XV104 do - and did it land? (Good to see the crowd looking at that too!)

A VC10 display - if it can be justified as such - means I will have to get the DVD when it comes out!

Elevated but set-back position was from Aviation Club enclosure - I agree that the crowd does make a difference.

I think she did two passes - those shots came from the go-around on Saturday. On Sunday, she was leading the Red Arrows formation....
