Did anyone else spot the AA contingent on Top Gear tonight? Looked like 2 DC6's and did I spot a DC3?

Yep though I couldn't quite tell where that was. The 747 lead me to believe it was at Brunters and I thought I caught a glimpse of Canopus too

The DC6's were ours, the Dak belongs to Aces High.

They've been there as part of the filming for Cassino Royale. APSA is still there, SIXC left on Tuesday, but didn't come back to Coventry......

Yeah, she's fine. We had engineers down last week to fix the first problem (broken push rod), but then on Tuesday she suffered another serious oil leak, caused by a part of the aforementioned push rod working it's way into the scavenge pump and causing that to fail. When that happens the oil isn't drawn out of the cylinders back to the tank, it's just forced out of any available orifice!

RA was replaced by PY for the final few days of the ETPS work. Both have been to Farnborough this weekend and are off to France on Wednesday for a couple of days.
