Royal Mail Crown and Horn

Post by DaveB »

Hi Guys,

Do you any of you out there have a decent shot/pic of the old Royal Mail Crown and Horn (note the emphasis on old!)??? I've spent a great deal of time searching online today and going through my shots but have come up empty handed  Pre '52 will be ok (King's crown) or '52+ (Queen's crown) at a push but nothing too recent as it will be out of era for the model it needs to go on.

Don't panic.. it's nothing new (a model that is).. just a repaint of an existing model. For reference.. something akin to what was on the tail of G-AFEZ/G-AGSH is what I'm after. B&W is a start.. colour on the button

Tks in anticipation

Nearest I can find is this one.....Looking at the date of this post...I may be a tad late, I expect you may be sorted by now Dave but here it is all the same.

Thanks anyway John

Those are the common web offering and are too low res.

Funny how difficult some things can be to source properly :worried:

Cheers

Agreed Garry. I'd found those and discarded them. Better than nothing but too low a res to be useful. Odd how something so common place is now so difficult to find
