Hi,
Does anybody know of a good C130J either in the making or availiable (not AI)?
Cheers

Paul,
The CaptSim C130 has a free 'J' addon though to all intents, it's not a full 'J' as they didn't go the 'whole mile' with the flightdeck. Whatever you've heard.. whatever you've read.. the CS130 is the best version around and as long as you can put up with the flightdeck not being full glass.. it's worth your dollar
It's a lot of cash mind you so unless you're committed (or have money to burn), I'd say hang on until someone does a freebie 'J'
I say this as I bought it and have flown it less than a dozen times but.. that probably says more about me than it does the C130 :-$

You're welcome
If you've had experience of any CS model at all.. you will already know the quality of what they produce. You will always find the purist who'll say 'this switch doesn't work right' or 'that doesn't happen right' but.. if you want a particular aircraft built to a certain standard.. you won't go far wrong
Which reminds me.. it's about time I took mine for a spin!!

I could'nt agree more. The package is excellent with some tasty RAF repaints available. I think the detail of the model is some of the best I have seen, certainly from the CS range.DaveB wrote:the CS130 is the best version around and as long as you can put up with the flightdeck not being full glass.. it's worth your dollar![]()

I have finally succumbed and bought it, I have to admit (reluctantly) that it is very impressive.
I actually bought the Justflight boxed version, kudos goes to them for enclosing a printed manual rather than the now standard PDF; the poor girl in the shop had difficulty fitting what looked like a copy of War & Peace into the case!
I suppose I'll have to think about getting some of the 'upgrades' as well now.

I was lucky in that my brother bought this add on for me. in canada it would cost me over $100.00 I can say it is one of the the most detailed cockpits i have ever seen on fs9.
since getting the herc, i had a nice chap dave sweetman do a repaint of First Air for me. then i started to fly in the CBFS VA. since then i've only flown the british classics. AHH! WELL! one day i might just spend a little time in herc.
