Tried it three times and even tried to cheat and I'm scared now (especially since it seems to have arabic all round the screen
).
Right then, choosing any two digit number is rather like choosing any two separate numbers with the proviso that the first one is non-zero. So if we call the first digit x and the second y, then our two digit number is:
10x + y
Adding the two digits together and substracting the from original:
10x + y - (x + y)
I reckon theres probably quite a limited number of answers, and therefore symbols that it could be
For example anything from 10 to 19 will always give 9 as the answer. Theres no way that the computer could actually 'know' what you picked, so I'm willing to bet that as long as you look at a possible answer (e.g. 9) whilst your real answer is another plausible one, then eventually you will beat it, I think!

Ah.yeah I forgot about that number thing where the components added together and subtracted from the number gives a multiple of nine and by changing that simple stops you twigging it straight away.
For a minute I thought it knew what I was thinking a bit like my ex wife
...the maths to explain that have not yet been invented
Perhaps the laws of maths and physics etc are different on her planet
