Nope. I lived in soton too long under constant threat of being a victim of chavs to find antics like that funny. My sense of humour is very dry, mainly 'Angus Deayton type' sarcasm, though I must say I have havent tried the whole "cocaine and prostitutes" night out yet.
I can see why people might find it funny but its not for me.
If it was me id be straight out my car to rip the heads off the little s**ts! Though more likely I'd try to run them over! Now THAT would make me laugh!
I know I seem like Im laughing at the thought of other people's death / distress but I really do feel that strongly about the whole Chav thing. I've been victimised many times on forums just for being 19 years old! Therefore I MUST be one of these tearaways that go around beating up the elderly and getting p**sed in the town centre at midnight! :curse:
But enough of that, I'll kindly step off my soapbox before I even truely get on it!
You seem quite similar to me Toby as regards your sense of humour.
Yeah, I knew too many people in Soton who were attacked (some beaten unconcious) by gangs of chavs and or had stuff stolen or vandalised. Older people (and I do notice this on classic aviation forums) tend to tar all young people with the same brush and dislike their prescence there (and in the next breath complain that there isnt enough young blood coming into the aircraft preservation scene  ). I myself was evetually violently assaulted by a gang whilst on my way to the library one night and they approached me from behind so I didnt see them or provoke them until I got a fist in the back of the head. The very sight of chavs now makes my blood boil :curse:
I have no time for them or their petty crimes that they commit to amuse themselves.
Sri but that doesn't work for me either. They're both a pair of w@nkers as far as I'm concerned. Would have been entertaining to see the drivers get in and run 'em over
