Brilliant photos Dave G.....makes me wish I was there!!
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

Very nice Dave, I'd probably tend to agree ith Joe on which shot is best of all although for me all of the first three have their plus points so its not easy to decide! Very atmospheric clouds... probably related to the ones that deluged over here last night
What equipment were you using?

Here's a few of my better ones of the day...... :shock:
No idea who the git was who walked in front of me on the first shot and for the rest.. none have been retouched in Photoshop
I'll post a few slightly more serious ones later if I get the chance. Thank god this wasn't film and I'd had to pay for such memorable shots!
Btw.. shot 3 IS a shot too :dance:

They look like my shots from Waddington.
I had to pay for the film as well... That's why the new DSLR is on it's way as we speak. :shock: (I said i'd never go digital
)
Love the ones in the first few posts, thanks for sharing.

I love the third one Dave, excellent composition and very atmospheric colour.

I like it too Toby. It says so much and yet so little. Wonder if the Tate would take it off my hands
Seriously, many of mine are like DG's as we were stood next to each other so I'll pull a few variations on the theme for you later. They'll be boring though as the shots will contain pictures of aircraft!!
