Actually I had forgotten I had the Trans European Airways logo as my avatar
The airline would have been celebrating its 35th birthday this Summer, but 15 years ago ago I flew with them, for my first ever journey outside of the UK (and its dependencies)... they went bust not long after. It probably had more to do with the recession and the Gulf War though

Where was TEA based, and what did it fly? - I tried looking up that Airline History web-site, but at the mo it's the 'Forbidden' page.
