Anyone else picked up Melvin Schupes AC500U???


Its a little jewel - flies and looks the business - and yes you can fly
Bob Hoovers routine in it - just keep your airspeed up

This one Leif? Had it a while now, used to attempt to fly it on a 32Mb graphics card, sigh, nostalgia ain't what it used to be.

Sean - Nope not THAT AC500 this is an original U - (see the two shots in the gallery of it) And your correct I watched Hoover do his deadstick routine for the first time in 1970 at Alton Illnois.

Tonks - In many many ways he was far superior a pilot and gentlemen to
the man who he flew chase for. :-#

Leif,

The filename refers to it as an AC520 - Sean was probably thinking of the AC500 and AC680 that appeared a couple of years ago by Milton Shupe.
