Hi Guys
Well, things have come on a pace and I think it's time we had some means of communication between one another should we be flying online at the same time.
As I mentioned some time back, a friend of mine has an FS9 server and Ventrilo voice comms server running 24/7. The only time it's down is for maintenance or if he's away from home on his holidays .
The programme to download is Ventrilo 2.1.1.0 which you can get from here:- http://www.hemvernet.com/downloads/ventrilo2110.exe
If you go flying, why not log on to the ventrilo server and keep a listening watch for any of your fellow VA pilots - there are very often two or more of you flying at the same time and I'm sure you can find something to chew the cud over.
Once you've got it downloaded, there is some setting up to do but is pretty intuitive. I'll send you details of the server ip via FlyNET message.
Rgds
John

IN BED????
Nah.. some of us work on Saturday nights too mate. Then of course, there are others (like me) that not only work on Saturday night but don't have a mic either!!
If enough interest is shown, I'll go rooting through some boxes and see what I can find to join the fun
Well done on the Comet inauguration btw
