Hello Just Joined

Post by amo »

Hi Everyone,
Just joined British Flight Sim Forum. Have not been flight simming for ages (waiting on FSX). Have been concentrating on Artwork for Airline liveries and Formula 1 at my website :
http://www.fantasyf1art.pwp.blueyonder. ... veries.htm
Have just finished BN Islander & BN Trislander and working on HP Herald (1st Aircraft I flew in), Viscount, VC10, BAC1-11,Trident & Comet.
Hope to do a sort of What If section with airline logos past and present on old classic British Aircraft. All suggestions welcome!
Regards
Amo

Welcome amo

Looks very nice....the real ones that is.

Don't think much of the fiction  as it dilutes my rare paints :worried: ..........but each to his own I suppose.

Anyway if you want advice this is the place to be and one of our members is a psyciatric nurse and another one used to be and it must be said they do come in useful. :madhead:

BTW ATB with your wait for FS.X but you might be on your own there

For a bit

Does anyone have good detailed drawings/scans of the HP Herald?
Have Finished a base but it seems a little bare!

Thanks Rick 200 Please - Your aircraft are awesome for FSim.
the Herald in BIA Orange holds a great deal of memories for me as I first flew in one from Edinburgh to Isle Of Man back in the early 70's. Flew there a lot on holiday from both Glasgow & Edinburgh.
Also your Chipmunk brings back many memories with the ATC from 1976-1981 (racked up about 8 hours) and the Jet Provost - Remember trying to get a flight in one at RAF Linton on Ouse in late 70's with ATC. (cadet of the camp got up in one if my memory serves me right!)
I can remember your website from a few months back when you were looking to make the Airspeed Ambassador (I think it was). I have a good 3view scan of it if you are interested.
Will attempt to draw HS748 since you have made a great FSim version.
Cheers

Hi amo

All my paints can be found on Classic British files, FS.com and Simviation.

All but my last two are on Avsim but I no longer use them.

By rare I mean hybrids and oddities like KLM BAC One-Eleven the impact of which is spoilt by fictitious livery paint. They look like just another piece of fiction.

Personally I wouldn't want to see too much fiction here...we are not about fiction we are about accurate Classic British.
