This hopefully will be the next purchase, I've a soft spot for the F4M(UK).. :wink:

anyone planning a Falklands based F4 re-paint? I did my bit on them & like one to fly!!

Merlin, I am on 1435 right now, albe it on the F3, and there are loads of pics here of the tomb in 1435 colours, so i might just grab some and do this repaint when i get back home :dance:

great stuff, I still have some pics of my tour there on 78 sqdn. Hope all is well down there?

i have donre 2 previous tours here, both on 78 sqn, but this time it is 1435 for me

This is a shot I took the other day of that very scheme so I thought I'd post it.
Sorry for not replying sooner Alex, looking good!
I've just watched the promo video of the 'other' F-4, then watched 'Phantom Phinale' by Mark Mainwaring (sp?) a video of the final years of RAF service though his camcorder. Mark was the Nav on the last display year, and (IMHO :dunno: ) its missing the thick smoke, dirt, and 'presence'. But that could be down to the video edit.

Hoping Iris get that right.
