In the USA, any car, house or property that is used for the
purpose of dealing drugs can and is most cases is
confiscated!!

It can be sold or used as which ever is best for
that item!!

The Corvette is used for parades and drug programs
at schools!! It is a reminder to everyone that sees it
what can happen!!

Several houses sold just this last week, the money goes
to several different programs, like battered womens shelter,
and things like that!!

the same happens here in canada, there was a drugs bust and the cops are now the proud owners of a cessna. mainly used to ferry the boss or for watching for speeding traffic.
i must say here in ontario the cops have HD motorbikes, look awful over in quebec they have the right idea, BMW 1200 RS. now that's a better bike.

TobyVickers wrote:I think I remember that on TV? The Impreza has only been superficially updated since it came out ten years go or so. Because it didnt carry a Rover or MG badge, the motoring media didnt seem to notice that and therefore its a little known fact. Presumably an (essentially) 1990s bodyshell means 1990s levels of safety :worried: (looks at window at own car!).
It was more than likely on TV, the tree which caused the damage actually probably saved their lives, the next stop was the River Trent. There is no problems with the Police using high powered vehicles, if, and only if, they are trained and more importently experienced enough to use them.

The Impreza's were given to response units with PC's in their early 20's who had just passed a driving course using them. Asking for disaster.

The unmarked ones did last a few more years though, the boy racers couldn't resist trying to race them, when they illuminated all blue their faces were a picture...
