Todays trip - pt2 - for Dyl (56k warning)

Hi all,

just got back from a real lung busting bike ride. As promised I've included some shots for Dyl! Who would think there is such nice scenery so near to Manchester. This area is Dovestones valley & Saddleworth. About 10-15 miles from Manchester City Centre. Oh the peace....!

Hey Leif,

if I could swap with you then I would! Trust me. I get sick of looking at sheep & pheasants. Gimme a rattlesnake and a couple of wild boars anyday..

TBH its that hilly & rocky, I spend most of the time out of it, trying to stay on the damn bike!

the only wild boars one finds around here are down on the strip

Funnily enough we have long hornsheep wild here in the mountains around us - I havnt seen a rattler since I came back - humanity intrudes to much these days :sad:
