** SUNDAY 30th APRIL at 1200HRS (BST) ** RECORD ATTEMPT HERE
Hi all,
just been scanning the forum and noticed something about the all time record of on-line users (yes I know I have too much time on my hands!).
The date was sunday June 5th 2005 at 1226 hrs. I noticed there was 60 users on-line. That really is incredible!!
I don't think I was fortunate enough to be a member then but obviously something very interesting was going-on at this time.
Anyway I think we as a forum can beat this record and with CBFSIM's popularity at an all time high why not all attempt to beat the record?
If we could all discuss between each other a suitable time for us all to be on-line, however I do appreciate that most of us are in various time-zones around the globe. Why not try and get 100+ users on-line!!
Perhaps its a daft idea but records are set to be broken right? Why not have a go at this together and see how many we can get on at once?
Moderators/gurus please forgive my ignorance for my knowledge & understanding into the science of running forums is very small and perhaps it may cause issues with the running of the site.
If so please advise so the idea can be scrapped

Hmm
Is there any point?
Is that not like saying last June there was a six mile traffic jam, if a lot of us got together perhaps we could make it twelve.
I don't know if it would jam things up or just irritate because everything happens at once.
Maybe I'm just a miserable old fart.

Heh heh. I'm not sure as I'm not a hardened veteran like some on here but the thought of having a mass on-line meet at the same time would be interesting.Garry Russell wrote:Hmm

Like Jetty said though, might get a bit busy at the bar..
I suffer from paranoid amnesia. I can't remember who I don't trust.
