I know, by hook or crook, right? I'll never forget my first trip to Duxford with my parents...helped nurture a lifetime obsession with planes...

anyway, back to business with the everpresent VX185. While we've given up boosting the shine too far, I added a mild touch so it's not entirely flat. The effect is not all that disimilar to Andy Gs. Final panel line tweaks have been made and stencling details added thanks to Andy's pdf guide (cheers for that). Now all that remains is weathering and then it's crank out time! Then again, that newborn sweetheart of mine my have other plans for me!

Here's what VX185 is looking like so far:

Looking nice Steve. BTW, I have managed to crank the shine up a little more, and I#ve got another couple of things to try - I'll get the revisions over to you tonight/tomorrow morning. It's gone from 'eggshell' to 'vinyl silk', so that's some progress I guess

Sorry Dave, I'll try and resize them. It slipped my mind, but I'll keep them within on future posts.

Cheers fellas, other things indeed! Today was a trying day for my wife and I, but it's just the thing of learning a whole new game as it were. However, with the baby asleep right now I took the time to resize the pics - should be better now

p.s. one quick thing - has anyone else had trouble getting the bomb-bay doors open on the Paul's model?

Steve,

The bomb doors are set to the 'Concorde nose raise/lower' command. There is no MS preset key for either of those commands - you'll have to assign two.

Cheers,

Kevin

Congrats, Steve! Remember, a trip to Duxford a day keeps the Barbies away. :D
