Many thanks chaps. I'm still flying with MSFS 2024 although I seem to have long periods where I don't fly at all.
I've been waiting for a decent HOTAS to come to the market for some years now but the wait continues.
I'm quite disappointed with the current hardware lineup in terms of controls available for MSFS.
It's been years since I've had a PC at a desk and these days I fly sat in a fairly low chair with a 40" Samsung TV swung down in front of me on an arm in our bedroom. It's then raised back up if we want to watch TV in bed.
Quite a tidy system that works well for us and it's comfortable to use the PC with. It does mean however that I sit in said chair with my original Thrustmaster HOTAS X on my lap as my primary control.
When Honeycomb first announced their new stick some years ago, that was due to be my replacement as it had everything I needed on it but it never came to fruition. The flight stick they actually released doesn't even have a throttle so is useless.
I don't really fly Airbus nor Boeing but pretty much a mix of everything else, so want something that will do that much like the Thrustmaster but with a twin throttle and of course a better quality.
There's just nothing out there unless you're prepared to go for maybe the Virpil kit which to me is more military suited whereas I want civil.
For now at least, the wait for new gear continues. I am however a tad excited about the JF Fokker 70/100 being a huge Fokker fan!
