Dave Maltby VC10 and the APU

Post by paul26may »

Does anyone know if it's possible to 'turn off' the APU in Dave's VC10?

Hi Paul, i don’t remember it being modelled, but I haven’t flown it in a very long time. Unless one of the guys over at HJG did in one of the updates they did?

The DMFS VC10's don't have, and never have featured, and APU .... whereas it 'is" simulated for the DMFS ONE-ELEVEN's.

HJG fixed all known/remaining issues with the final version DMFS VC10's (and COMET's, ONE-ELEVEN's, and TRIDENT's too) .... and added things like functional WX radar (for the lot BTW) and which "does" paint FS meteorology), but, it never applied an APU to the VC10's either.

Only the military VC10s ever had APUs.... if you're flying a civil version the question ought to be "can I turn the APU on?" :poke: ;)
Due to shortages and cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.
