It was a cloudy day, quite chilly with a good breeze but at least it stayed dry for us.

Would have loved to see the Swordfish, P-47 and the BBMF.

Thanks Mike. I am no photographer, just point and click and it always amuses me when I get home and look through the days pictures. Without fail, 2/3rds are deleted.

Grey sky, no plane.
Little black dot in the corner
half a plane
out of focus

However I will include one more with a background story.
We were due to have an Apache helicopter flying but it was announced that due to technical problems that grounded the Apache fleet we wouldn't be seeing it. The airfield had been seeded with suitable pyrotechnics for the Apache display and a pair of Strikemasters would take advantage of this for their own display. The announcer informed the crowd of the Strikemaster making its attack run, entering stage right. 50,000 heads turn to the right and BOOM, off go the fireworks, stage left to everyones surprise. All cameras swing left and we all got this shot...

Nearly got it.

Oh, the pollution. Did you feel the heat? It can be quite noticeable.
