I couldn't go this time because I am doing house repairs before winter sets in.
Sadly, an aerobatic demo ended in disaster, when the aircraft failed to clear the ground at the end of a loop. Pilot is critically injured.

Again, best wishes to Glenn Collins for a speedy recovery.
He remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Glenn is an experienced aerobatic pilot in his 50s.
The Pitts Special appeared to bounce once after hitting the ground, so a tiny bit better than a vertical hit.

"While I can move my legs — which I'm incredibly grateful for — I don't yet have full feeling in my legs or waist. Ongoing rehabilitation will be key, and I'm giving it my all."
Mr Collins was taken to hospital in a critical condition and has since undergone several surgeries.

"Recovery is ongoing and still uncertain in many ways, though I'm thankful for every step forward," he said.
After spending the past five weeks in Melbourne receiving treatment, he said he will now be transferred to Sydney to be closer to family.
