Hi Joe, could it be your IP has been added to a blacklist somewhere? We don’t block anything manually, but Cloudflare uses publicly available lists of known bad IP addresses. Another possibility is that there is a vulnerability in the browser on the PC thats being blocked? Again cloudflare will detect and block that maybe?
It’s not my browser, normally use chrome but tried with safari and it had the same problem. Since the message says contact the website owner maybe you as website owner could message cloudfare with the “ray id” and ip address and have them unblock me
Still today I can’t access from my work computer, (this is from my phone). Maybe someone who administers this site can either ping cloudflare or the company that hosts our servers
What can I do to resolve this?
You can email the site owner to let them know you were blocked. Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page.
Cloudflare Ray ID: 933e06910f8f1319 • Your IP: Click to reveal • Performance & security by Cloudflare
I do wish someone on the server side of this forum could help me with this issue. I spend much of my time on my work computer and I’m block from here during that time
Joe do you have Comcast or Spectrum as your work ISP? We've been having problems over at SOH with some members not being able to access the SOH site and invariably they are on one or the other of those ISPs. It appears that their recently introduced router software upgrades have turned on 'nanny mode' by default and blocked access to a lot of sites for a lot of users. The most common fix is to go into your router settings and disable 'nanny mode' and that stops the problem but as you are on a work connection getting that done might be problematic!
We use Cloudflare to protect the site, so it must be something about either your work network or work computer it doesn't like. I'm not sure what it could be tbh.
My work computer is an Apple but I have used Apple laptops for years and never had an issue. The software on it is managed by corporate so it already has security software on it and I am forced to do regular updates.
Network does not seem to matter, there is VPN setup but if it’s on or off, inside office or home or at another location using a different network I get the same problem. But if you send Cloudflare the ‘ Cloudflare Ray ID’s listed above they should be able to fix it or at least say why.
