As somebody who has used this method, I can confirm that whisky does not cure Covid, but it's a lot more agreeable than sticking a swab down your throat, up your nose, or into any other bodily orifice.

Recently, I received in the mail 4 Covid self-test kits from the US government. None of them contained whisky, gin, or rum. More government waste of the tax payers money.
