Storm Eunice

Post by Kevin Farnell »

Looks like this could be bad. Having already issued a 'Red' weather warning (winds of up to 90mph and a danger to life) for the south west of England and South Wales. This has now been extended to London and the East of England (where I live). I'd be surprised if I'm not without power, as it usually only takes a butterfly to break wind for the power to go down here. I'll be staying indoors, but at least I've got some beers in!

I’m on the South Wales coast, mid way between Cardiff and Swansea. It’s pretty wild here at the mo. Supposed to be about at its peak for the next hour. Quite scary. :worried:

Blue skies here at the moment, but the wind is very strong. Stay safe everyone.

Somewhat breezy here in Norwich. No damage as far as I can see, looking outside.

I was reading online yesterday that Red Funnel was cancelling it's Red Jet service until further notice. I imagine crossing now on Red Jet would be a pretty wild ride. :-O

I'm near Ipswich. We almost lost a fence but a few running repairs have kept it more or less in one piece. Short lived power cut earlier but sadly not long enough to keep me out of Teams meetings.

We lost a couple of fence panels, but nothing serious.

Just out of interest, did anyone try flight simming in the UK with real weather enabled ?
