Meat Loaf RIP

Post by Kevin Farnell »

I'm deeply shocked and saddened to learn that Meat Loaf has passed away aged 74.

An absolute pillar of Rock/Rock Opera, who I never imagined would not be around. There can't be many people who haven't heard 'Bat Out Of Hell' (he did after, all sell 100 million albums - not all of them, 'Bat Out Of Hell')'.

Rock in Peace, Meat Loaf and thanks for so much amazing music!

Another legend gone. Bat out of Hell was hugely influential in shaping my teenage years.
RIP Meat.

I remember 'Bat Out Of Hell' from my distant youth, but never owned it - I was too much into the prog stuff, like Pink Floyd, ELP and Yes. He was a very nice bloke though, by all accounts. RIP, Mr. Loaf.
