Now we hear that Victoria's biggest casino (spit) operator not only waltzed along, merrily ignoring the rules on criminal activity, but also managed to amend the rules under which they were supposed to be policed. If that wasn't enough, they also had a clause added to grant them $200,000,000.00 compensation, should any future government introduce amendments placing restrictions on them before 2050.
As a "man in the street," I can hardly believe my ears.
I've also confirmed that lawyers do not swear to tell the truth etc., while everybody else in the court does
