Is it a Cumberland sausage?

Re: Bitzer project
I've flopped with the latest Bitzer too. I felt sure I had it right, even down to the version, but the Grand Mufti says no.

Re: Bitzer project
Hi Paul,
Many similar features, but the Amiot had oval fins, whereas this machine carries rounded quadrilateral fins.
Cheers, Mike.

Hmm..those fins are reminiscent of a more well known twin of the period, but I know it can't be that. I'm flummoxed once again.

I can think of a couple of German types, Paul, but you're right, it's not them.

This one is annoyingly familiar, but I just can't find it.

Re: Bitzer project
First, the results:
Diamond badges for these hawkeyes, who correctly identified the SAAB B-18...
Keith (Dev One), Mick (woody901), Peter (MilesMan), Ben (TSR2), AllanL

Despite some initially unique-seeming features, we still saw some look-alikes emerge; like the Amiot 351 & 354, Le 045, Yermolaev 2
There were some good tries in there.
OK, here it is sans twirls:

Thanks All, hope you enjoyed it.

No birthdays, time to launch 04-04.
Usual PM only replies please.
This is volume one of testing your knowledge of wings.
Wings of twins, that is. Get 6 right for a Diamond award; it all goes downhill from there!
