The UK version of COVID is spreading fast here. Apparently, by the time people test positive, they've already infected their contacts.
They just had announced another snap lockdown. No spectators at the tennis.
Only allowed out for 4 essential reasons, only 1 visitor allowed per household.

Tonight's news, panic buying has left supermarkets without toilet paper AGAIN. It's enough to give you the sh**s, though under the circumstances, that should be avoided at all costs.
They are finally realising that-(a) Hotels were not built to be isolation wards. (b) They should be more careful about letting international visitors into the country.

Wish that Britain would follow the Australians regarding lock-downs but then again, Aussies are probably better than the Brits when it comes to isolation or not mixing with others hence the many fines that are issued to selfish individuals here.

Instead of fining them, I would make them work in a hospital cleaning and disinfecting the wards. Bet they won't re-offend afterwards!! (another rant over).

Totally agree. Much of this image is down to the media. Likewise I now live in Scotland, I was born and have lived the majority of my life in England but I am British. EricT
