Closest reasonable destination was Calcutta (whoops Kolkatta) with a Super VC10, which would also have the climb performance to get out of there again.
So I flew out with the intention of diverting to Paro (ICAO VQPR), RNAV transition to visual approach through assorted mountain valleys.
Nice airport, SHORT runway, very steep climb out, happy pilot
