Just missed the lottery
One lousy number off being a millionaire tonight.
I had the $000,000, just needed a 1 in front.

I've been doing the same "Lucky numbers" ever since the lottery started. My profit and loss account makes sorry reading.

When ever I buy a lotto ticket, I remember the old saying that a lottery is a tax on those that are bad at math.

Re: Just missed the lottery
I don't play the lottery anymore, but when I did I never used to check the results on the Saturday night. I used to wait for the Sunday paper.
In that way, I was a 'Schrodinger Lottery winner' for the Saturday night. I was in a quantum superposition of having both won and not won the lottery until I observed the result
