Seems my first post of this got lost somewhere, so let's try again - it's BETA TIME.
The FS9/FSX Martlet is now ready for testing - get it here https://www.dropbox.com/s/s47518v2tc0lk ... t.zip?dl=0
Although built for FS9 it's also OK in FSX. Here's a shot of it in FSX in flight over Shoreham.
As usual I rely heavily on your input, so get flying and enjoy pottering about in a vintage steed.
Cheers

Re: SOUTHERN MARTLET BETA
Thats funny, I picked it up t'other day, but am snowed under with looking for houses in UK, as have found a potential buyer for current house, just need to start the french legal beagles....and the grass is growing fast so had to give it a second cut this year!!!
Anyway, have done a bit of modification, as engine too powerful - cyl capacity too big & some curves not quite right - see my Bunty which has a 105 HP Genet.
Prop pitch adjusted.
Drag value adjusted to get 120.
Trying to find out why she will spin to the right, but not the left.
Would be nice to have tooltip text for ASI.
Have adjusted elev trim in air file so none needed at cruise.
She loops & rolls very nicely.
Model very nice.
Nothing else spotted yet!

P.S. Yes, its still there at the end of the Southern Martlet thread.

Re: SOUTHERN MARTLET BETA
Thanks Keith - much appreciated
That's good news house-wise hopefully it will all happen smoothly and that you can find a suitable little cottage here.
I'll add a tooltip to the A.S.I. - it's in a weird place but that's what it is like on my Old Warden photos - perhaps the pilot just listens to the wind noise to get an idea of the speed ?
Looking forward to reciving the revised config files from you.
Cheers

ps - a tooltip was already in the code but I've had to move the gauge outwards in its panel hole to get it to show

Looks great! D/L now and looking forward to a first flight
Re: SOUTHERN MARTLET BETA
Just had a quick bimble, very nice thank you
Re: SOUTHERN MARTLET BETA
Glad you like it
Sure, it's no rocket ship but a nice example of the glory days of private flying. The sole remainer at Old Warden is a delight to watch.
Cheers

Re: SOUTHERN MARTLET BETA
Love it, now if only someone would produce an Avro Baby to sit alongside the Martlet. Should take half an hour or so to bash out the engine cover!
Bert Hinkler's one was even painted white.
