Rich reaches 76 today

Post by Filonian »

It looks as if I've boobed. Mike has informed me that Rich passed away some time back.

My sincere apologies for any upset to family and friends caused by my post.

Happy Birthday Rich, we miss you.

Maybe in future we should just wish HBD to active users (i.e. posted something in the last 6 months).

Graham, do not feel at all bad! The fact is, I think we all appreciate your thoughtfulness in posting the birthdays and all the hard work you do in the kitchen baking all those virtual cakes! After all we do mark birthdays for those that have departed. That said, Happy Birthday Rich!

Thank you for the kind words gentlemen, though I won't forgive myself and will always post now with some trepidation when someone hasn't posted for a while.

Hi Graham, don't feel bad about this as you had posted in all innocence of which any-one could have done the same.

Maybe it might be an idea that if some-ones birthday shows up and they have not posted for a certain period maybe 12 months then one can assume that their appearance here may not occur for whatever reason be it married life or just the fact that they have moved on away from flight simulation.

Admittedly some have gone away for over a year then suddenly out of the blue re-appeared so really it is a fine balancing act on whether to post or not to post.

Hope this helps in some way.

Regards
Nigel.
