Many thanks for all the good wishes gentlemen, much appreciated.
Spent a quiet day with paperwork, Area Council minutes anmongst other things.
Now just back from a bracing walk the full length of Filey Prom.
I now face a difficult choice - Abelour 10 or 12 Year, Glen Grant, Glenfiddich of Bunnahabhain. I think the latter will win. It would have been no contest if our daughter had landed today with the Glayva. One thing is for sure, I will be in no pain at all tonight when I turn in.
