Yes it does Dave, I have only tried it in version 4 and it handles very well. I like the quirkiness of it, air brakes. undercarriage etc.Rob Richardson has released his Fairey Barracuda for FSX (I assume it will work in P3d as well).
I've discovered this is due to the way FSX/P3D treats the tailhook, once it's down it's down so when you catch the wire it remains in the fully extended state rather than swinging backwards as it should. This lets the nose tip forwards more than it would in real life, hit the deck and cause a crash or at least engine damage.
