Wonderful pictures Peter, hope you had an enjoyable day at Marham, did you meet up with any of your former RAF colleagues?

Regards
Nigel.

Great pics, Peter. Thanks very much for sharing them. :) The green and white aerobatic aircraft is a cutey...never seen that design before. Come to find out it's a homebuilt 'Rihn DR-107 One Design'. :)

No Nigel I'm too old now to have any of them at an airshow!...I was there visiting my Daughter, Son-in law, Granddaughter and Great Granddaughter...Lexie now calls me "Great Grandad" and we are great friends...She likes to play The Room Three with me and she is pretty good at it for a five year old!! I had a great holiday with them for a month and took in the British Grand Prix as well as climbing the Church Tower and taking photos from the top!...Much walking with their new dog and feeling really fit! :agree:

I have good memories of Marham...back in '52, or '53 ATC camp had a ride in a Chippie as well as on the 'Rumbold seat' in a Canberra....told if in trouble open door , Pilot will kick you out, count three & pull rip cord! Told all this whilst engines running as the crew had just returned from practice bombing sortie. Tail chased a B45, smoking like mad....great fun...couldn't happen today with 'elf & safety....

Some cracking pics there Peter despite the weather. I think I would've just skulked off to the beer tent to sulk about the wx.
Hope you all had a great day. EricT

Yes Joe,

It did get better...Before all that we were sheltering in a Tornado Blast Shelter with about a hundred others! :agree:
