The price is right from the flytampa website, Dave..
Maybe I had another box checked.
I downloaded the airport designer from Scruffyduck... For now, it'll have to wait.. I'm buried with things to do..
The problem I had is fixed so I'm satisfied.. thanks for your help.
Mike,
The file name of princess Juliana is: tncm_v1.0
No.. it will be part of the afcad/afd/ade/adex file. Find the bgl that has all the runways and taxiways on. It should be on there marked as a red T with a red circle around it. Double click on the T and it's properties will open. You'll see it's height (which will undoubtedly be HIGH). Bring that figure down to something believable then hit COMPILE. Give it a new name if you want. When it asks if you want to save, say NO. Compiling the file will already have saved it. The 'Save' it's asking about is something different.

The red T with the red circle around it has an object sat on top of it. Took me a while to find it!! Anywho.. you can see it highlighted by the red arrow. Hold your mouse over it until tower view shows then click on it to open the properties. You can see the properties window in the screenshot.. I hope. The view is currently set to 16.458m. Change the value in the box to make it higher or lower
Dave,
Know what? I don't have sdk installed so I can't go about changing the altitude of the view using ade.
I opened tncm in ADE and made the change but when I tried to compile it.. I got a dialogue box informing me the sdk location could not be found. Soooo
Without going into a lot of detail I won't be able to install the sdk for the foreseeable future.
I might be able to adjust the view altitude another way via XML. http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/thread ... lem.11909/
Scroll down a bit to jvile 's comment.
I'll do it for you Joe. I see what the problem is. The tower has been put at the level of that bank it sits on. The tower view height is (obviously) some way above that. The height needs to be at least double otherwise you're looking at the back of the house in front of it when viewing the end of the runway. Interestingly, I found Bounty sailing not far off.. a nice surprise!
Give me a few mins to have a fiddle and I'll post the ADEX here
