Easter Sales on at PCA, FSPS and Just Flight

Post by DaveB »

This is for Joe really

Easter sales have already started at PCAviator.. http://www.pcaviator.com

Vendors seem to be the usual suspects. Thankfully.. nothing there for me ;)

Dave, thanks for contributing to my addiction :hide:

They seem to have a perpetual 50% of sale for VIRTAVIA FSX titles.

Hopefully after my latest binge I can hold off for a while.

I know, I can give up payware for lent, yeah that's it!

Yeah.. I've not seen Virtavia at full price there for a very long time. None of the really big players included (Milviz) though JustFlight are 33% off across the board. There are bargains to be had.. if you don't already have them that is

I've amended the title to add FSPilotshop and Just Flight. JF's sale is 50% off Joe :shhh:

I am fortunate that for the JF sale I already have all the ones I would consider buying.

The first step in solving a problem is admitting you have one.

I openly admit that I had a problem too.. in no small amount caused by that evil PaulK :shhh:

I finally cured myself having bought everything :wall: As a bonus though.. there's now nothing to buy and hasn't been for quite some time  I still get withdrawal symptoms every now and again but doesn't every ex-addict :cpu:

I cured my payware addiction thanks to the Top Gear episode where James May went for the flight in the U-2. During the flight James felt an incredible urge to scratch his nose while wearing the pressure suit (full face helmet included). The pilot of the U-2 advised James to think of something else and the urge to scratch his nose would go away. Worked for me. ;)

My problem is not with the more expensive AC, I can look at the SWS or Milviz F-4 and really think about should I buy that or not, consequently I don't have either. Even when MilViz had their latest sale where I picked up there F-86 I could leave the F-4 on the shelf.

and PMDG aircraft, I would never even consider.

But when the price drops down to where its less that what I might spend on lunch, it becomes easier to cross that line.

I have lots of those.

Yes.. me too 8) :poke: :wall: :worried:

That was the bit about 'buying everything'. I'd bought the things I really wanted (really-ish wanted) and come the next year.. I bought the stuff I really didn't want but since it was in a sale.. it got yaffled up  Now.. there's nothing left to buy 0:)
