There's a freeware version of AirTrafficFX (a similar program) available here..

Sri Mon Kapitan.. that's the only freeware one I know of
AirTrafficFX (the payware version of that freebie) is relatively expensive at £20.45 from Flight1. The new prog Dave now uses is a mere £14.30 from Simmarket. These are the only formation type progs I know of. Dave says the AiTrackerX is a bit buggy but it IS new and works with FSX and P3D. Lots of time for development.
