That's not what I expected at all.

I was expecting some photoshopped image video of Gerald Ford and Bill/Hillary Clinton doing a fan dance together.

Was actually quite relieved it was not what I expected.

Me too, especially from a poster by the name of H. Truman. Ya can't get away from presidents this week.

Enjoyed that, HT. :)

Hi Keith :hello:
I held fond memories of skiffle for decades:
From The Vipers....
"I was born 10,000 years ago,
And there ain't nothing in this world
I don't know,
I saw etc.etc."
AND "Gonna jump down, turn around,
Pick a bale of cotton"

AND of course Lonnie Donegan; we had a heap of his EPs
Then old recordings made it onto the web.... :| I'm afraid that the magic was gone.

I'm often reminded of the above Irish skiffler; The husband & wife team of cleaners who do the holiday house next door are in fact Don and Lonnie.
When they finish and drive off, I can't help thinking "Don & Lonnie gone again!"

Long time ago, my mother-in-law was living in private sheltered accommodation in Worthing. We visited one day, and we were introduced to one of her new neighbours named Nancy. Later on, the mother-in-law told us that Nancy had mentioned that she used to be a singer, but she knew no more than that. It transpired that Nancy was actually Nancy Whiskey, who sang with the Chas MacDevitt skiffle group and had several hit records, the biggest being Freight Train.

Funny how once known big stars slip away and become just anther face in the crowd.

Den.
