Cheers Dave

I'd have gone round for another trap had I been able to find her again in the fog

Great pictures Dave, always nice as a confidence builder to see the rescue heli stationed nearby in case a of a faux pas! :hide:

Regards
Nigel.

Thanks for that Nige

Fortunately.. I have SO many deck landings in the Vixen, the chances of a faux pas are slim. Not impossible but very slim ;)

Well done, Dave!
Right on the line. Was it a t&g or did you re-launch?

Umm... Mike, Dave hit so hard he snapped the wings up. The take-off must have been after they'd repaired the damage.

:hide: Now, I'm off to the naughty corner.
It's not a 'bird', it's an aeroplane or an aircraft

Saw 2 on the deck when approaching, two in shot in the side view, all with wings folded.
NOW I see the "64"" on the stbd flap, and 464 on the nose. I didn't recognise Dave in the cockpit; he doesn't wear that helmet at the pub.

It would be nice to have the pilot flip his visor up (something fairly common these days) but it IS an old model.
